Advisory Board Members
The Advisory Board of Dhahran Ahliyya Schools is a group of dedicated volunteer members of the Eastern Province community. The Advisory Board works at a strategic level to provide advice, support and stability for the continuous operation and development of the school. Their combined talents are focused on developing and monitoring the long and short range strategic plans of the school. It works closely with the founders of the school Mr. Khalid Alturki and Dr. Sally Alturki to ensure that “Each year we will be better than we were the year before.”
Khalid Ali Alturki
Mr. Khalid Ali Alturki is the Founder and Chairman of Khalid Ali Alturki & Sons (Alturki) which is a leadingfamily owned investment and development company that was established in Saudi Arabia in 1975. Itssubsidiaries and joint venture companies are involved in contracting, trading, manufacturing and consultingfocused specifically on the construction & infrastructure, building materials, real-estate, oil field services &renewable energy, environmental, Information and Telecommunication Technologies and general industrialsectors primarily in Saudi Arabia and neighboring Arab countries. Mr. Alturki also invests globally through his offices in the UK and India.
Abdulla Mohammed AI Zamil
Abdulla M. AI Zamil is a member of the Board of Directors of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZamilIndustrial). He was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zamil Industrial in October 2009. He acted asChief Operating Officer (COO) of Zamil Industrial since January 2004. Prior to that, he was Senior VicePresident of Zamil Air Conditioners and Zamillndustrial's Shared Services. He began his professional careerin 1987 with Zamil Air Conditioners as an Industrial Engineer and subsequently Vice President, Sales &Marketing and Purchasing & Materials Management.
Abdulaziz A. Alnaim, CFA
Abdulaziz is President of Mayar Capital Management and Manager of Mayar Fund, a hedge fund that invests in global equity markets. For the seven years prior to starting Mayar, Abdulaziz served as Chairman, CEO and Fund Manager at Yareem Ltd., an investment company which he managed using a disciplined value investing approach. He was also Chairman of Yareem Arabia, a multi-unit restaurant company based in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Abdulaziz is a CFA charter-holder and is a member of CFA Bahrain. Abdulaziz is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Young Businessmen Council at Asharqia Chamber of Commerce. He holds a BS in Management Science with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Majid F. Al-Ghaslan
Majid F. Al-Ghaslan is a recognized technology and thought leader within Saudi Aramco and Saudi Arabia. Majid has extensive experience leading high-visibility, mission-critical areas for notable organizations within the Technology, Oil & Gas, and Higher Education industries. He was a founding member of the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) and served as interim CIO responsible for the development, support, and operation of innovative technology solutions and services that advance learning and discovery at KAUST.
Musab Al-Mubayedh
Mr. Musab Al-Mubayedh is the Manager of Utilities Department in Saudi Aramco Dhahran.
Upon obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Engineering in 1978, Mr. Al-Mubayedh was hired by the Royal Commission for Jubail where he successfully assumed important jobs with increasing responsibilities in Construction department, Project Management until he became Director of Seawater Cooling Program.
Rami Alturki
Rami Khalid Alturki is the President of Khalid Ali Alturki & sons (Alturki) which is a leading family owned investment and development company that has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 1975. Its subsidiaries and joint venture companies are focused specifically on the construction & infrastructure, building materials, real-estate, oil field services & renewable energy, information and communication technologies and general industrial sectors primarily in Saudi Arabia and neighboring Arab countries. In his capacity as President, he also holds directorship and chairmanship positions in the group’s various joint ventures and subsidiaries.
